Baladna Band is considered one of the most significant outcomes of the Dabkeh program. It was formed in November 2023 as a group that aims to deliver a national cultural heritage message to express the ancient Palestinian identity. It is divided into two teams: Baladna core-seniors and Baladna core-juniors. The band has grown rapidly to include 24 dancers between the ages of 7 and 19. The band undergoes intensive training under the supervision of a professional coach and a skillful assistant, to ensure excellence and readiness for all types of shows including heritage and cultural participation.
Baladna Band participates in workshops and cultural days in schools, colleges and universities, to present the Palestinian heritage to students of all ages. The band participated in the Palestinian Day and Edmonton Heritage Festival with the strongest performance that expressed our Palestinian heritage, culture and resistance.
